Munch is a Mehico-themed restaurant (now located in Leigh) which dabbles with a lot of East Asian and North American-including maple land-influences.
It is a place of gastronomical parkour, in a good way.
A diverse menu with regular-enough additions and specials makes it so that it’s probably worth frequenting every now and again, desert options are good but some might find this to be a limited selection.
The food will do more to raise your serotonin levels than getting the front seat on top of a double decker bus!
Respectable portion sizes, proper ingredients, fair pricing, good liquor choice, milkshakes that'll bring the boys and vegan options makes this a solid choice.
However,
On the odd occasion when the presumed barrels of vegan MSG are being rolled about or something's going on that otherwise hampers the rolling of burretos-
-This may not then be immediately reflected in the app or opening times which is somewhat problematic for happy neurotransmitters.
So to recap:
+ has to be some of the best gourmet food around 'tan
+ the menu isn't monolithic
+ good exchange rate between portion sizes and ingredient usage to £ spent
+ friendly staff
+ customisable options
+ the /spicy-spicy/ sauce is a biological weapon
- sometimes there's "No soup for you!"

We drove past to grab a McDonald’s and noticed there was a table free so rang up & grabbed it for ourselves. From the moment we walked in we couldn’t of had a better experience. Amazing service, amazing food & amazing atmosphere. We shared steak nachos and mac&cheese bites to start- steak nachos were absolutely delicious. Both went for burgers for our mains which also didn’t disappoint at all. We have ordered quite a few takeaways from here over the years , but this was our first time eating in & can confirm we will be doing this a lot more. The staff couldn’t of been nicer & I wish I grabbed the name of those who served us. We could not fault a single thing. 10/10 amazing!!
Interesting to read some of the negative reviews on here, I guess you can't please everyone.
We saw this place as driving passed and thought to give it a go. Me, my friend and my 8 tear old son.
The decor, theme and style of this place is something you would expect to see in a swanky part of Shoreditch. Initial service was a bit slow, but the server apologised as about 2-3 tables all wanted to pay at once! But credit for identifying and apologising.
From time if order to delivery was very quick and the food tasted great. They have a very good Vegan selection which is rare but that also follows through into their milkshakes and desserts too.
All three of us enjoyed our food and thought the price was reasonable too.
Will return soon!
